Steve Granado is a radio and television sports broadcaster located in Southwest Missouri.

Steve Granado was born in Whittier, CA and grew up in neighboring La Habra and La Habra Heights, CA, playing around in the California mountains, deserts and beaches as a youth before graduating from La Habra High School. It was not until his sophomore year at Cal State Fullerton that he realized that play-by-play and reporting was his true passion. Granado declared a Broadcast Journalism Major alongside a Radio/Television/Film Minor, focusing on Sports Reporting. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
As his college life came to a close, Granado shifted into Minor League Baseball first with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 2015 as a member of the media relations department, covering future National League MVP Cody Bellinger. In 2016, Granado began his MiLB broadcasting career with the Boise Hawks, touring the Pacific Northwest and calling the likes of future big league infielder Garrett Hampson. Since his first Minor League play-by-play job, he has voiced pro ball with the West Virginia Power (A-, Pirates), the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (AAA, Yankees) and Springfield Cardinals (AA, Cardinals) while filling in for the Inland Empire 66ers (A-, Angels) and RC Quakes (A-, Dodgers).
Granado’s career has taken him to eighteen U.S. States and into Canada. He’s had the fortune of calling nationally recognized collegiate and high school sports from UCLA softball and JSerra Catholic baseball as well as the MLB Arizona Fall League and USA Hockey. He currently works for the Springfield Cardinals, Double-A affiailate of St. Louis, calling select games on MiLB.tv and Classic Rock 106.7 while hosting a Cardinals Prospect Intverwiew Show and creating digital content for the club.
